Conversation 2
Son: This foot [points at right foot] is only cranky today. Do your feet get cranky, Mommy?
Me: Sometimes they do! Right here [points at Tailors bunion on right foot] and sometimes here [left sesamoid area where I fractured a sesamoid in late 2010, and it took ten months to really heal. Sometimes issues with sesamoiditis there still.]
Son: Both feet?
Me: Sometimes.
Son: Well, just this one for me today. Time for a shower!

Conversation 1
Son: Mommy, my feet feel cranky.
Me: Why do they feel cranky?
Son: I have to take off my sandals. They're still cranky.
(Cranky usually means painful or crampy to my son. We have no idea why.)
